Doctoral Candidate Publishes Book
Matthew G. Kenney, Doctor of Business Administration candidate, recently published his first book entitled “Entrepreneurship: Myths, Realities, and Rewards.” According to Matthew, "Embarking upon an entrepreneurial career is a paradoxical experience. It can simultaneously be rewarding and terrifying. Taking the plunge may be easier if you remember that entrepreneurship isn't just about being self-employed, it's about being yourself. It is the pursuit of fulfilling your true potential, of simultaneously bettering your life, the lives of others, and managing your career on your terms.” His book is not intended to convince readers to start or buy a business, rather the intent is to debunk the 20 most common myths he encountered as both a business school professor and practicing entrepreneur. The text is available on Amazon.com and Borders.com.
