NSU MBA LinkedIn group launched!

I have started a LinkedIn group for NSU MBAs and this month we are officially launching it. If you are a NSU MBA Alumni, you are more than welcome to join the group so that you can reach other NSU MBAs around the world, please click on the logo below to signup:



For those of you that are unfamiliar with LinkedIn, it is a Business Social Networking tool that allows you to connect with other professionals across all industries. By joining the NSU MBA Alumni group on LinkedIn, you will have access to other Nova MBA Alumni's networks of business contacts. If you have already joined, I would appreciate it if you could get the word out to any alumni you know that might be interested in participating.

If you'd like to be approved prior to signing up, please send me an email (steve [at] novambas.org) and I will add you to the pre-approved list to help facilitate the approval process. Otherwise you will have to wait until I verify that you are indeed a NSU MBA Alumni.

M.B.A. Graduate Gets Promoted After Earning Degree
Congratulations to Annie C. Redd, an M.B.A. graduate of the Huizenga School, who was promoted in March to the position of Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs at Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida.

M.B.A. Graduate Recognized by the Florida Education Association
Hera Jaclyn Becker, a 22-year-old Huizenga School M.B.A. graduate, was recently featured on the Florida Education Association's (FEA) Web site for her entrepreneurial efforts. Becker recognized the need for children to show their appreciation on Mother's Day and Father's Day for the special caregivers in their lives. As such, Becker was inspired to pursue a unique business venture, which involved the creation of a card company for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day cards. Unlike the traditional holiday cards, Becker’s card company helps to promote equal opportunity for all children to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day by adding more appropriate terminology for the holidays.
